We are currently in the midst of a transformation where the demand for so-called soft skills, in addition to communication skills, is experiencing significant growth and appreciation. Both of these skill sets have finally been recognized as integral to the core of business. Empathy, emotional intelligence, active listening, and mutual respect are frequently discussed, along with the communication of these aspects both internally and externally within companies.
Simultaneously, as remote work has imposed new demands on leadership and communication, shedding light on areas that need to be transformed within companies due to these changes, we find ourselves in a situation where the era of authoritarianism is simply over. Leadership has evolved into a service profession, signifying that the use of coercive tactics must be relinquished, and strategies for retention need to be seriously contemplated. How can an organization effectively respond to all of these challenges?
